Here at BELS, we are all in good health.  Personally, I am in good spirits too 😊!

Our two centres (Malta & Gozo) are both open. We have around 60 students, from 10 different nationalities.  

In Malta, more than 50,000 people (around 10% of the total population) have already been vaccinated & a further 40,000 doses of the AstraZenica vaccination are due to arrive later on this week.

I’ve also read that the rate of COVID-19 infections, around the word has slowed down by nearly 50% over the past month.
 
Our government has updated the COVID-19 travelling regulations and many countries can travel freely or with a negative PCR test. Please follow the link to more information: https://www.visitmalta.com/en/covid-19 

This means that passengers arriving from these countries are only required to submit a negative PCR test taken 72 hours, prior to boarding their flight to Malta.

MALTA is the only country where NO quarantine is needed.

So students check in to our accommodation and on Monday, they come to school to follow face-to-face lessons.
 
Of course, the pandemic is still with us, so we need to remain vigilant. We still have & follow a safety protocol but I find that the above are all great news which make me look positively to the future.
